It's wonderful to create a new Ford model that achieves excellent fuel economy. In a recent press release, Ford officials stated that in the near future, one-third of its transformed vehicle lineup will offer 40-mpg or more. Serving as the shining star atop a well-lit tree, the new all-electric Ford Focus is slated to get over a 100 mile per gallon equivalent rating. In case you haven't already heard, the Focus EV will also offer up extremely competitive charge time, beating out contenders like the Leaf.

Derrick Kuzak, Global Product Development, says "Whether people want a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or full battery-electric vehicle, we have a family of vehicles for them to consider, providing a range of options to best meet their needs and support their driving habits and lifestyles."¹
