The all new 2011 5.0 liter V8 Ford Mustang GT will be based on the classic 1964 model. This will trump Ford's entry-level 4.0-liter V6 engine that pushed 210 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque at 5,000 rpm. Both offer a five-speed manual gearbox or optional five-speed automatic. Either combination proves 0 - 62 mph in 7.8 seconds with the manual.
